Raised behind the golden lights of Hollywood's classic movie sets, Emmy nominated makeup artist, Bruce Grayson was exposed to the art of beauty at a young age by his father, celebrated makeup professional, Dave Grayson.
Bruce learned the meaning of professionalism watching his father build relationships with motion picture icons like John Wayne, Lauren Bacall, Bruce Willis and Rita Hayworth.
After high school, Bruce began working alongside the lead makeup artist on NBC's The Tonight Show, where he fine-tuned his craft and established himself as one of the industry's top professionals. In the wake of high-definition television's popularity, Bruce became an authority on how to soften the harsh details now exposed on a person's face by using superior makeup application techniques.
Today, Bruce's work in fashion, print and red carpet continues be just as influential. His extensive media work has also made him a highly successful makeup and skincare spokesperson, serving as brand ambassador for Olay China and Creative Director for Max Factor China.
Back in Hollywood, the city where it all started, Bruce has worked as the head of the makeup at the Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, Grammys and the Academy Awards. His celebrity and editorial work has been featured in magazines including Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar and Vogue.
From the red carpet to the White House, Bruce's distinguished work has brought him the honor of working as head of makeup at the Democratic National Convention, for President Bill Clinton & Senator Hillary Clinton during both terms in the White House and most recently, for current President, Barack Obama.
Having served as the ambassador for Olay Skincare and P&G Beauty, Bruce currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife.
