David Plakos is an L.A.-based freelance camera operator. He has shot hundreds of music/variety television specials, concerts and award shows specializing in LIVE events as well as multiple TV series.
Plakos has 49 Primetime Emmy Nominations and has won 10 Primetime Emmy Awards. He has also served on the Television Academy's "Lighting, Camera & Technical Arts" Peer Group Executive Committee multiple times and is its current co-governor.
