Jud Kinberg was a producer and writer best known for his work on the Kirk Douglas film Lust for Life, and for penning the cult classic Vampire Circus.
Kinberg also worked on the films Executive Suite, The Collector and The Magus, among many others.
Additionally, Kinberg worked on the television series The Seven Lively Arts, The Four Just Men and Quincy M.E., for which he earned an Emmy nomination in 1978. He also contributed to the telefilms A Stoning in Fulham County, To Catch a Killer and the miniseries Kane & Abel.
Kinberg was the father of Simon Kinberg, producer of the X-Men films, Deadpool and the Kiefer Sutherland TV series Designated Survivor.
Jud Kinberg died November 2, 2016, in New York City. He was 91.
