W. Kamau Bell is an American stand-up comic and television host. Prominent within the San Francisco stand-up comedy scene, he is best known as the host of the former FXX television series Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, and as the host of the CNN original series United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell, for which he has received a 2017 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program.
